Colombia Finca El Refugio
Colombia Finca El Refugio is sourced from family owned farms located in the department of Tolima, Colombia. On average, each producer cultivates their coffee on less than 5 acres of land. Coffee producers use their own micro-mill to process harvested cherries, which allows for meticulous care in depulping, fermenting, and drying the coffee. Expocafé, an exporter dedicated to supporting small producers, collaborates with these producers improving their access to international markets and establishing higher earnings. Cultivated by communities within the Chaparral municipality at elevations of 1500-1800 meters. Full-bodied and complex with aromas of dark chocolate and Kirsch. Candied-orange and plum flavors, bright and juicy acidity with tropical notes throughout the finish. Certified Organic by Washington State Dept. of Agriculture.
